Oligofructose, a type of prebiotic dietary fiber, is produced through a process of partial enzymatic hydrolysis of inulin. Due to its nature as a dietary fiber, oligofructose is not digested in the stomach or small intestine and is instead fully fermented in the colon, resulting in a range of potential benefits for gut health. DIRECTIONS
